Waco, 1962
New Orleans, 1984
I am a Maker of stills & films and a Boomer with credentials & scars. I spent my early childhood in the dusty streets of Waco, my formative years in New Orleans (which I still consider “home”) and have traveled and resided in lands outside of the States, most memorably, my ancestral home, France. (see also, Broussard le Val de Loire)
In the late 90’s, I founded my first film production company, but I’ve been penning manuscripts and screenplays since college, while completing two other not-film careers in the decades since 1976. Yes, I am old. These days, I reside in the beautiful Pacific Northwest of America and continue to write screenplays, but mostly photograph nature, to help promote conservationism and to raise greater awareness of the dire impacts of climate change on our lives and environment. I acknowledge, honor and respect the Indigenous and Traditional Custodians of the Land. I use exclusively Nikon cameras.
